Zoom Meetings is an all-in-one commercial communications application, allowing users to have video conferences with their team members, share various types of content, and message one another.

Zoom Meetings is essentially like an unlimited, faster version of email services combined with common VoIP services and video meeting services. Rather than use a collection of applications, users can simply use Zoom Meetings to get everything done.

The most commonly used feature is video conferencing. Anyone can set up a conference in advance, which automatically invites users who are members of relevant teams and shows a dynamic list to the organizer of who has RSVP'd to the event. Because of the decentralized nature of the app, lag time is minimal during conferences.

During a conference or at any other time, users can also share files of unlimited size. While the administrator can set a cap, the program does not impose an arbitrary cap. For those in industries that require huge files, this is one of the easiest network-based sharing solutions. Unlike other services with fairly small caps that run over third-party servers, users can take advantage of their internal infrastructure to get files moved back and forth faster than ever before.

With integrations for common business applications such as Outlook and Google Calendar, Zoom Meetings is a "plug and play" application. Once an administrator installs it and its prerequisites, it's ready to go. Unlike other services, up to one thousand users can simultaneously attend video conferences, which should be enough for the vast majority of organizations. Screen-sharing is also possible through this app; pre-buffering technology ensures that a crisp, near real-time version of the screen is shared at all times.

To increase the likelihood of compliance with laws and regulations surrounding how long businesses must retain communications, Zoom Meetings comes with archival features that are active by default. Administrators may disable these if they're not applicable. In addition to encryption and password options for shared files, transcripts of every meeting that are generated by Artificial Intelligence voice-to-text features are kept on a drive for at least a decade by default. Even shared files are kept for a decade. However, if a drive runs out of space, the oldest files are automatically deleted to make room for new files, unless an administrator specifies otherwise.

Zoom Meetings provides users a unique opportunity to experience office productivity like never before. No time is wasted with internal server options allowing the fastest sharing possible, security options are nearly limitless, and video conferencing can be held for organizations of virtually any size. Of course, users may take advantage of the program for personal use, but it's targeted at businesses.
